Midlands architecture practice bolsters team with addition of senior architect
Architecture and construction consultancy YMD Boon has announced the appointment of new senior architect, Steve Day.
YMD Boon, which recently celebrated 50 years in business, works from offices in Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln and Market Harborough on high profile projects across various sectors.
A skilled architect and designer with a wealth of knowledge across numerous sectors, Steve joined the firm’s Derby office, bringing with him an impressive 24 years of industry experience. Steve is responsible for supporting and developing the architectural team in delivering projects across the region, seeing them through from inception to completion. In addition to this, Steve is a mentor for the RIBA Student Mentoring Scheme on behalf of YMD Boon.
Steve said: “YMD Boon has a strong presence in the region and that, mixed with the company’s impressive portfolio, track record and ambition for growth, is what drew me to the position.
“I look forward to working closely with the talented team on many exciting projects in the years to come and helping the company strengthen its architectural offer and further raise design standards.”
