YMD Boon appointed for Nottinghamshire leisure centre scheme
Architecture and construction consultancy YMD Boon is pleased to announce its appointment on Rushcliffe Borough Council’s new leisure centre scheme and office building in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.
The scheme, which is scheduled to start on site in summer 2020 and complete in late 2021, will provide a new two storey leisure centre for the town.
The centre will include a fitness suite and exercise studios, a 25m six lane pool, a teaching pool, a community hall, and a serviced office building as part of the site.
YMD Boon will be providing architectural and landscaping services to the project, which was secured through a consortium bid led by property and construction consultants Henry Riley LLP. Other partners on the scheme include electrical contractor ESP Ltd, civil and structural engineer BSP Consulting and swimming pool designer and builder Penguin Pools Ltd.
Shari Setayesh, director at YMD Boon, said: “We are proud to be part of the team working to deliver this fantastic leisure centre in Bingham.
“The centre will provide the town and surrounding area with an excellent community facility, helping to create jobs, promote healthier lifestyles and contribute to the growth of the area. We look forward to seeing it progress.”
