YMD Boon Holds Exciting Company Events Day

Last Friday, YMD Boon closed their offices to hold a company-wide events day following recent changes across the business and to welcome all our new recruits.

The aim of the day was to discuss the exciting future of YMD Boon and bring the company together through various team-building activities - focusing on our goal of moving forward together.

Company event days are extremely important to us, which is why we properly invest in them. We believe these types of internal events are essential for fostering good relationships and improving wellbeing across the business.

An overview of the day

To kick off the day, we listened to a presentation from our Directors who explained our focuses for the business and our new vision. We were then split into 4 teams and participated in a variety of mental and physical activities hosted by GoTo Events.

For the first half of the day, we acted as Crime Scene Investigators where each of the teams received their own Briefing File, containing everything we needed to know about a recent crime investigation. We then used forensics kits to work out what evidence connected the suspects to the crime scene, eventually catching the criminal.

The second half of the day was spent participating in a ‘School Sports Day’ where we relived the fun and competitiveness of a typical Sports Day. All the games and event ideas were exactly how we remembered - bringing out our inner child!

The Events Day was a great way for all our staff, especially our new recruits, to engage and get to know one another outside of a working environment. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
