Office Complex - MHR

Office Complex

Project Overview

New flagship multi-storey office building for MHR delivering flexible workspace, modern amenities and high-quality design.

As part of the continued evolution of MHR’s office estate, YMD Boon was appointed to design and deliver its most advanced office building to date. The development spans three floors above an undercroft parking level, providing a contemporary and flexible working environment.

The building includes two floors of open-plan office space, alongside a dedicated level for informal working and breakout areas. Additional features include a fully equipped media suite, an on-site café, and doctors surgery, supporting both collaboration and staff wellbeing. A striking double-height entrance, complete with a revolving door and feature oak staircase, creates a strong first impression and connects all floors through a central vertical core. This hub also incorporates meeting rooms, breakout spaces, and essential staff facilities.

Constructed using a primary steel frame with prefabricated concrete panels, the scheme benefits from high-quality offsite construction, including factory-finished brickwork. The design reflects the existing estate while introducing a bold vertical presence as the tallest building within the business estate.

Internally, the fit-out focuses on enhanced security and acoustic performance, building on previous developments. The result is a forward-thinking, resilient workspace that sets a new benchmark for quality, functionality, and user experience.
