Condition Improvement Fund

As one of the leading CIF consultants in the East Midlands, we consistently complete around 80 Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) bids each year and have maintained long-term partnerships with many of our clients, having been involved with CIF since its inception.

School Condition Allocation

We currently partner with 14 MATs to support the prioritisation, coordination, planning, and delivery of their School Condition Allocation (SCA) funding. By assessing the current condition and future needs of school buildings, we produce comprehensive reports that help Trusts maximise their capital improvements.

Further Education Funding

We have a strong track record of supporting FE colleges in securing funding for new builds, expansions, and refurbishment projects through recent funding programmes, including the Post-16 Capacity Fund, T-Level Capital Fund, and Institute of Technology Fund.

Nursery Capital Grant

We have successfully supported schools in securing funding through the School-based Nursery Capital Grant to create or expand nursery provision, managing the works through to completion thereafter.

Local Authority Funding

We have assisted local authorities in accessing Levelling Up and Towns Fund grants, helping to deliver capital investment projects that enhance buildings and spaces in the region.

Section 106 Funding

We work with schools to access Section 106 contributions from local authorities. This includes supporting the preparation of business cases, assessing building areas, and identifying accommodation shortfalls to secure funding for essential projects.

We have extensive expertise across a wide range of funding streams for schools and further education colleges.

By working closely with leadership teams and estates managers, we provide tailored support that reflects both immediate needs and future ambitions.

The Arden Forest C of E MAT has worked closely with YMD Boon over the past few years and that partnership has led to the successful completion of multiple projects, and the improvement of our estate.
