YMD Boon has been appointed to deliver the redevelopment of Block B at Wigston College, creating a modern, high-quality teaching facility for students and staff. The project forms part of the college’s wider estate improvement strategy, aimed at enhancing the learning environment and supporting future growth.

Our funding experts prepared and submitted a successful Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) bid to the Department for Education, securing £2.26 million in funding. The submission was supported by detailed condition surveys, structural investigations, and feasibility studies, which demonstrated that replacement was the only viable solution.

Following funding approval, YMD Boon provided full multi-disciplinary services including Architecture, Principal Designer, Contract Administrator, and Project Manager roles.
