A further milestone has been reached as YMD Boon attended the topping out ceremony at the Bingham Arena site in Nottinghamshire on Friday 10 December.
YMD Boon, alongside other partners involved in the project, joined Willmott Dixon to celebrate the latest milestone. They witnessed council leader, Simon Robinson, lay the final part in the fabric of the new two-storey leisure centre building.
About the project
The 5,550 sqm leisure centre development will host a new 25m competition swimming pool with spectator seating for 330 people, alongside other fitness and studio facilities.
Adjacent to this, there will be a two-storey office building, named the Bingham Enterprise Centre, comprising of 12 offices for SME businesses.
The projects will produce far lower levels of carbon, including 78% carbon emission reduction compared to other leisure centres in the borough and 82% lower carbon for similar office developments.
