We are delighted to announce that MHR’s new multi-storey car park has been shortlisted in the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) category at the Constructing Excellence Midlands Awards 2022.

Working alongside Stepnell, BSP Consulting, EvoEnergy and Precast Concrete Structures Limited, we built the £4.5m four-storey car park which offers 190 secure car parking spaces, based at Ruddington Fields Business Park in Nottingham.

The structure uses the latest off-site construction and incorporates a pre-cast concrete frame, floors and walling. The external walls comprise of brick bonded concrete panels, which were all constructed and pointed completely off-site.

A full cover solar panel array was installed on the roof to support an efficient lighting strategy and dedicated electric vehicle charging facilities, whilst feeding surplus energy back into the main business operations.
