As part of the continued expansion at Castle Donington College due to housing development in the surrounding area, we recently completed a new science extension to the front of the college on behalf of East Midlands Education Trust.
The new extension consists of 2 fully equipped science laboratories, a prep room and much needed additional toilet accommodation. The building is located adjacent to the existing science base and replaced an obsolete outdoor swimming pool, creating a new, modern focal point at the front of the college site.
The project was undertaken over a period of months and was delivered on budget with minimum disruption to the college, ensuring the college remained fully operational for the duration of the works.
The new accommodation will provide enhanced facilities at the college and assist in delivering the best quality of education to their students.
