We were appointed by David Ross Education Trust (DRET) to carry out internal alterations to form a new sixth form area at Lodge Park Academy in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The works consisted of refurbishing an underused area of the school to create the new open-plan area within the Academy.
Over a period of 8 weeks, we constructed a new common room, a study area, ICT facilities and a kitchenette for the sixth form students and staff.
The refurbishment was completed on time and within budget and took place over the summer period, avoiding any disruption to the school. The project was part of a wider school transformation that the Academy have embarked on for the past two years.
