We were appointed by Southlea Property Management to provide architectural services to convert an existing care home into 20 residential flat apartments in Bexhill-on-Sea.
During the initial stages of the process, we provided option appraisals for the client to explore alternative layouts to ensure best value for money was achieved, whilst not sacrificing the quality of the apartments.
We wanted to ensure the apartments were a desirable place to live and enjoy the area. Therefore, we ensured each apartment offered a sense of style and was given a fresh, modernised look with minimal and contemporary interiors.
We built the apartments to consist of a spacious living area which backed onto a fully fitted kitchen with soft close draws and base units, a fitted contemporary bathroom suite and light, airy bedrooms.
The conversion of the existing care home building was the first phase of a wider development.
