We were appointed by East Midlands Homes (EMH) Group to design and deliver 32 new affordable homes in Littlethorpe, Leicestershire.
The existing site occupies an area of approximately 8,200 sqm. It was home to a local authority depot containing a mixture of offices, warehouses and workshops.
Catering to a variety of local housing needs, the development includes a mixture of bungalows, 2-bed semi-detached homes and 3-bed semi-detached homes. Ten properties were built facing Warwick Road, with the remaining homes nestled within a cul-de-sac with a shared outdoor area.
16 of the new homes are available for rent and 16 were offered to market via shared ownership schemes. Each property boasts a private garden and driveway, providing residents with a comfortable and secure living environment.
This new housing initiative effectively addresses the increasing demand for affordable housing and tackles the shortage of rural social housing in the area.
