We were appointed by Milton Keynes Council to design and remodel their Civic Building.
Due to the ongoing flexible working demands, the council wanted to reconfigure their office space to enable a large majority of their workers to work from home (roughly 80%).
Currently, the office has 3 floors of workstations and meeting rooms. The revised building will consist of an area for operational and technical staff on the ground floor, collaborative working and meeting spaces on the first floor, and desk space for those who are unable to work at home on the top floor.
We worked closely with key stakeholders to ensure we designed a suitable space for Milton Keynes Council which focused on futureproofing the working environment.
The modernised building design will give the council more opportunities for flexible and agile working which will create a more efficient and productive work setting for the teams.
