About the Award
The annual Greater Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards event, organised by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, recognises the best of the Construction and Property industry in Greater Lincolnshire.
Applications for Architecture Company of The Year were open to Lincolnshire-based architecture practices who deliver industry best practice and technical excellence, contribute to the Lincolnshire economy, promote Lincolnshire as a destination of business, and have achieved significant growth and impact over the last year.
Over 300 people gathered to celebrate the Construction and Property sector in Lincolnshire, with the awards ceremony taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln.
About YMD Boon
YMD Boon is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing architectural, building surveying, and health and safety services. YMD Boon work across a broad range of sectors including Education, Residential, Blue Light Emergency, Leisure, Commercial and Heritage.
Over the last 3 years YMD Boon has almost doubled in size. In 2020, YMD Boon employed 30 members of staff across two offices. Now, YMD Boon are 50 employees strong with three offices across 3 offices in Lincoln, Nottingham and Market Harborough. Despite the significant growth, YMD Boon have a fantastic employee retention rate of 98% since 2020.
YMD Boon are an active ambassador of Team Lincolnshire, having attended multiple events to champion and promote the region. We are also members of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and regularly attend the Property and Construction events in Lincolnshire.
YMD Boon’s Current Lincolnshire Projects
YMD Boon have carried out a wide range of projects for local authorities and education clients across Lincolnshire. As a result, we have built strong, lasting relationships with Boston Borough Council, South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership, Boston College, and Keystone Academy Trust, to name a few.
Most notably, YMD Boon are proudly involved in the design and delivery of two Boston Town Deal projects.
Under designs by YMD Boon, the Boston Leisure project will see the redevelopment of the Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex to provide additional facilities and transform the leisure provision, all under one roof. The Mayflower Centre project will be sited opposite the Leisure Centre and will become a bespoke learning centre for adults. The building will offer a unique learning, business and community space and provide access for skills training.
